CLIENT: BrandLink Media
Brandlink Media, a marketing agency in Oklahoma City, requested a website design based on their current logo, targeted towards business owners regardless of company size. Their direct competition are agencies offering similar services in Oklahoma City, like NV Creative Firm, liquidfish, VI Marketing, Ghost, and High Five Media. These are full-service agencies that offer marketing strategy and design production in both digital and print formats.

I intend to incorporate motion as a strategic element to gain user’s attention through interaction and maintaining it, so I start the project focusing on a tool at hand: the logo.
I make the animation in .GIF and CSS to make it suitable for both video and web.

The project’s north star is to create a cohesive visual identity that truly reflects Brandlink's essence, showcased through an engaging and user-friendly website. Our primary goals are to improve the user experience and assist Brandlink in reaching their audience and building brand recognition.
Develop a visually appealing language
Expand the color palette for increased versatility
Selecting appropriate fonts that align with the brand
Creating illustrations that represent their various services
Build a skeleton site to ensure the style is cohesive and functional.
In addition I'll incorporate interactivity to engage users that does not take away from delivering Brandlink's story.
I begin by implementing a visual language, starting with Brandlink Media's existing colors, Teal and Peach, to maintain brand consistency. As an accent, I introduce Gold to expand the color palette and add depth.
Playfair Display for elegant and captivating headings
New Farm for light and modern subheadings
Proxima Nova for easily readable body text.
This combination strikes a balance between professionalism, approachability and style.
Illustrations will play a crucial role in the visual identity. I’ll utilize a mix of flat and line illustrations, as well as more intricate imagery that effectively represents Brandlink's wide range of services. These illustrations will not only enhance visual appeal but also convey the desired message with and without a caption.
With basic visual identity elements established, I create a sitemap based on the service list and add expected pages in marketing agency websites, like Testimonials, About, and Contact. Since I am only building a skeleton site to showcase the new Visual Identity, I start building the website interface.
To engage users without distracting from the information they seek, I add a subtle touch of interactivity by incorporating hover animations in the illustrations to engage curious users and keep their attention, aiming to increase the time average time spent on the page. This level of hidden interaction adds an easter egg that brings fun to the user experience while making it memorable, increasing the odds of higher traffic to the site via word of mouth.

I had the chance to create kinetic typography videos to be used as projections that acknowledged and thanked sponsors at an event for Brandlink's sister brand, Brides of North Texas.
